It all started
In 2004, Rachel Armstrong discovered a niche in her industry when she realized that a long term care pharmacy could provide better service to patients simply by focusing on the caregivers of long term care. So with one technician, one facility, one pharmacist, and the support of her family and friends, Rachel embarked on her mission to care for the caregiver.
Now, nearly a decade later, KeyMed Inc., has grown into Southeast Idaho’s premier long term care pharmacy with four pharmacists, twenty pharmacy technicians, and additional staff members working to continuously improve the services we provide across the state. The pharmacy has also developed and maintained a strong partnership with the College of Pharmacy at Idaho State University providing Internship and Externship programs.
